CAMaster Training Class
Getting the Most out Of Your CNC Machine
October 26 and October 27th 2017
CAMaster is proud to announce that we are offering a two day training session here in Cartersville, GA on October 26th and October 27th 2017. The training class is held just a few minutes from our facility at the Clarence Brown Conference Center (Etowah 4 Classroom) located at: 5450 State Route 20 Cartersville, GA 30121.
In order to better serve and train the attendees, we require that attendees meet the following criteria:
Must be a current CAMaster machine owner/operator or have a machine on order.
Must have a copy of either Vectric Cut2D, VCarve Pro or Aspire.
Must have a copy of the software installed on a laptop that they will use during the training session.
With advance notice, some software titles (or upgrades) can be purchased at the training session.
(Thursday – Morning)
Cut2D, VCarve Pro Design and Import:
A comprehensive, step by step lesson that shows how to create, combine and modify vectors and text for your projects. This lesson shows the what and how of the drawing tab icons in order.
(Thursday – Afternoon)
Toolpath Generation and Saving with Vectric Products
This lesson explains the most common toolpath icons, when and where to use them, with tips and tricks on how to accomplish your tasks.
Advanced Toolpath Testing
(How to Get the Right Tool and Speeds for the Job)
This class explains the difference between the different types and styles of bit geometries and how to get these different bits cutting properly for your material and machine.

Hold Down (Vacuum and Fixtures) & Strategies
Includes use of vacuum, spoil boards, masks and jigs for parts location with vacuum. Also the same as it applies to T slots, sacrificial holding fixtures and special purpose, high vacuum fixtures.
This segment is designed to have users to bring up topics that they may have not completely understood, would like more information on, or from their own problematic files.
(Friday – Afternoon)
CAMaster Operation & WinCNC Startup:
Covers the operation of your CAMaster machine, including initial startup of a new machine and includes many of the most often used commands required for daily operation.
CAMaster Maintenance, Adjusting & Calibrating:
Covers routine, and possibly not so routine maintenance operations and adjustments, schedules for those items and some checks to make sure your machine is calibrated and cutting at its best.
Multi Tool Operation with FTC, ATC or X-3
This class covers the fine points of multi tool use on a CAMaster and the WinCNC macros that operate behind the scenes to allow these actions to take place.
A tour of the CAMaster factory for those that would like to see how and where our machines are built and programmed.
Cost and Registration:
$350 per person for the two day session. Lunch will be provided. Seats are limited to ensure small class size.
Class times are as follows for both days:
8:00 – 8:30 AM Coffee and Donuts.
8:30 – 10:00 AM Training session
10:30 – 12:00 PM Training session
12:00 – 1:00 PM Lunch
1:00 – 2:30 PM Training Session
3:00 – 4:30 PM Training Session
Class sessions are designed to have 1 1/2 hours of class time, followed by a half hour for networking and questions for the instructors
